It’s Monday, July 11, 2022, and time for Math at ClickSchooling!

Teaching Ideas – Maths

This UK-based website offers free ideas, activities, and worksheets to help educators teach math (and science, geography, history, and lots of other subjects as well).

When you get to the site, you’ll see some featured math resources and activities. The age range is in the top right corner of each box. Click ‘VIEW’ to see the worksheet. You can download each one by scrolling past the ads to the red ‘Download’ button. To find worksheets by category, roll over “Maths” in the red menu bar at the top to find choices that include:

Maths – Learn to understand and solve word problems for a variety of math strands, learn to add and subtract numbers of varying size, get lots of resources to help kids understand fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio and proportion.

Numbers– Practice number sequences, patterns, Fibonacci sequence, Kaprekar’s sequence, Pascal’s triangle, the 100 Square and more.

Geometry – Learn about different shapes and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. Sort shapes, match shapes, discover polygons, triangles, quadrilaterals, tangrams and more.

Measure – Develop estimation and practical measuring skills, learn to calculate perimeter and area as well as the volume of cubes.

There is a great deal of content beyond what’s described above and all of it can be used to supplement math studies. You’ll need to bookmark the site and make several visits to thoroughly explore it.
