that introduces students of all ages to the life and times of President
Harry S. Truman through a multi-media display. When you get to the site you
will see a menu divided into elementary and secondary school activities that
provide biographical information accompanied by photos, primary source
documents, political cartoons, and speeches. There are suggestions for all
kinds of student activities to enhance learning about Truman’s presidency.
For a very entertaining introduction to Truman for the younger set watch the
“Mo the Mule Picture Show” that tops the list in the “elementary” section.
Older students will enjoy the “Truman Whistle Stop Tour” listed under “Games
& Puzzles.”
Once you’ve had a chance to explore the site’s contents, try your hand at
the fun quizzes, word searches, and interactive games that test your
knowledge of Truman and his presidency.
