At this website you can take an excellent slide-show virtual tour, accompanied by text, that explains the entire cheese manufacturing process from cow to curd to a brick of Colby cheddar.
When you get to the site just wait a moment for the program to load and then enjoy the photo-tour while you read the informative text. You can use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to pause, rewind, and advance the presentation as needed.
When you are through with the virtual tour, click on “Movie” on the menu on the left side of your screen to watch a 14-minute movie about Crowley’s cheese making process that was aired on the Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs” in 2005.
