To encourage kids’ interest in learning more about U.S. history, PBS offers this fun website that tells some presidential facts that not many people know. For example, did you know that Andrew Jackson had a pet parrot named Poll that had the impolite habit of cursing? These and more fun trivia facts are revealed.
When you get to the site, just click on an image of one of the U.S. Presidents to read an amazing factoid about everyone from George Washington to Bill Clinton.
When you are through learning the secrets of the presidents, you might be inspired to learn more about them.
