At this website, children’s author, Aliki, explains how a book is made. The interesting text is enhanced with colorful illustrations. When you get to the site simply read the introduction and click on the icons that turn the page, to follow the book-making process from the author’s original idea, to editing, illustration, design, production, printing, and distribution. It’s very kid friendly and quite informative. By the way, this website is based on Aliki’s book, How A Book Is Made, which you can get at your local library, or purchase online.
