The FAA Aviation Education Kids Corner
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) sponsors this site to teach kids about aviation concepts and science. When you get to the site you will see a menu at the top that allows you to pinpoint activities for a particular age group from pre-K coloring activities to Teen Pages containing simple science projects.
The different age-range categories contain science experiments, puzzles, brainteasers, trivia questions, and even aviation vocabulary drills. However, don’t let the age ranges limit your exploration. If your children are interested in airplanes, flight, space, or they just enjoy projects, puzzles, and wordsearches then look at what each category has to offer to provide lots of opportunities for learning. Most of the activities will pop right up on a new screen when you click on them — some (like the coloring pages) need to be downloaded.
