Amazing Kids — Writers!
This site is sponsored by the non-profit foundation, Amazing Kids. Their goal is to help kids live up to their full potential. To accomplish this mission they offer many venues for kids to display their unique talents. One of these venues is a website that publishes uplifting poems and stories written by kids of all ages. At this website you can read the stories and, if inspired to do so, submit your own writing for publication. They have many contests and ideas to encourage young writers here. When you get to the site, scroll down a little to the menu of stories and then just click on the ones you would like to read.
You can also visit their “Virtual Art Gallery” to see children’s artwork — and kids can, of course, submit their artwork (including comics and animations) for publication on the web.
Amazing Kids now offers a free E-zine with interviews of people who, through their work, encourage and inspire others to be the best they can be. To find it easily, go to the main page of the site and you will see a menu of everything that Amazing Kids has to offer — it’s well worth perusing.
