At this website you can find comprehensive study guides to classic literature. Titles include: Animal Farm, Billy Budd, The Crucible, Death of a Salesman, Divine Comedy, Frankenstein, The Good Earth, Hamlet, Little Women, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Scarlet Letter, To Kill A Mockingbird, White Fang, and many more — over 100 titles in all! The guides are intended for the study of literature in the traditional “school” way — but they can also be used as a springboard to develop and promote discussion of literature and literary terms and concepts.

There are also some interesting and fun quizzes to take at this site — like an I.Q. Test, a Personality Test, a U.S. Trivia Test and a World History quiz. I’m not exactly sure how this ties in with reading and books — other than good readers often test well. It’s more likely that it is intended as a “hook” to get you to visit the site and recommend it to friends. :-)

This site also contains over 1500 E-Books that are free for downloading at the site — and include classic and modern titles. That’s like having a library in your home! The book selections are geared for junior high and up. Some of the titles have been the subject of societal controversy. Parents may want to preview the list prior to recommending it to their children/students.
