Age Range: 3-10 (Grades PreK-5, with parental supervision)

This site, one of the many DLTK Sites for Kids, provides younger students with learning activities in both English and French. The home page provides an introduction in both languages.

Use the left-hand side menu to find the French activities which include:

  • Éctiture – (Education) – activities to help the student learn to write
  • Labyrinthes – (Mazes) – simple mazes with French captions
  • Les Formes – (Shapes) – coloring pages to learn shapes
  • Les Lettres – (Letters) – trace and color the letters of the alphabet and learn French words that start with that letter
  • Les Nombres – (Numbers) – Learn numbers 1-10 and color the correct amount of objects represented by the number.

Each main page has information and instruction in both English and French. Once you have selected an activity, use your browser print function to print out the page to use a worksheet. While this site is generally geared for very young learners, it can also be use with older elementary students to learn some basic French.
