Gather the family around the computer for a visual and audio treat about the life and music of one of the world’s great classical music composers, Mozart.
When you get to this site, you will see a painting of Mozart’s face. Look down on the left-hand corner of the screen and in tiny letters you will see the word “English”. Click on it and the site will be available in the English language. Then you will notice the menu on the upper right hand section of the screen. You have a choice of:

  • Concerts – watch and listen as your computer screen becomes a concert hall where you hear Mozart’s music compositions performed by various composers. You can even read the biographies of the composers who perform Mozart’s music!
  • Compositions – find a complete list of all of Mozart’s works along with Midi files so you can download and listen to them.
  • Biography – A beautiful, well-researched, pictorially stunning biography of the life of Mozart, complemented by his music.
  • Media Library – Discover paintings depicting Mozart, Sheet Music, and Audio files.

This is a remarkable website that serves as a wonderful introduction to the music and life of Mozart. If you don’t have a great deal of time to surf the entire site, then go directly to the “Biography”. The story of Mozart’s life will fascinate your children, the pictures are beautiful, and you will be treated to a sampling of his music.
