Michigan State University offers this free interactive virtual tour of the Amazon rainforest.

When you get to the site you’ll see a photograph of the rainforest.  Place your mouse cursor over the picture to reveal images that include:

  • Boa Constrictor
  • Capybara
  • Jaguar
  • Orb-Weaving Spider
  • Parrot
  • Poison Dart Frog
  • Rhinoceros Beetle
  • Scarlett Macaw

And more!  Click on any image and a new page opens where you can read information about the item you selected. 

This is a fun way to see and learn about some of the unique flora and fauna in the Amazon rainforest without leaving home.
