This website, sponsored by Harcourt School Publishers, provides twelve, free, interactive, multi-media grammar games that help students practice and improve their understanding of:
- Nouns
- Pronouns
- Verbs
- Past and Future Tense
- Plural Spellings
- Prepositions
- Sentence Structure (phrases, dependent clauses, and independent clauses)
- Punctuation
When you get to the site you’ll see a menu of games divided by grade level. Click on any game and a new page opens where you can begin play.
These practice games are based upon lessons in Harcourt textbooks and workbooks. You do need some basic knowledge of grammar to play the practice games, as they are not instructional – just a way to practice what you do know, or find out what you don’t know.
