Virtual Field Trip

Hi! Today is Friday and it’s time for a Virtual Field Trip to The Tower of London. This site is appropriate for all ages. When you get to the site, dedicated to the memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, scroll to the bottom of the page to find buttons to click to begin the tour. You can take the regular public tour, or a tour designed for kids — guided by the Tower’s resident bird — a Raven. (The kid’s tour is designed for young children. There are also links to sites with puzzles and games, etc., on the kids site.)

You can also click buttons to get a detailed history of the Tower and its role in British history. There are maps and stunning pictures as well. There are pictures of castles and links to other castles too! This would be a great site for those studying the Middle Ages.

Enjoy your trip!
